Ampersand Buddha

As an artist on a Spiritual path I’m always seeing hieroglyphs hidden in everyday life.  Inspiration struck as I was trying to find a good font for an ampersand and I noticed one type face looked like a bowing monk holding his or her offering bowl. The upright bowl in the Buddhist tradition represents an ever open mind. Ready to receive and ready to give. The ampersand represents the bridge between two worlds. Giving & receiving. Yes & No. Masculine & Feminine. Light & Dark. & the Buddha represents our humble task to gratefully bow to the world of apparent opposites and the diverse gifts life offers us.
