Holden Hugs a Tree

Trees it has now been documented are communal, and will often form alliances with trees of other species. Forest trees have evolved to live in cooperative, interdependent relationships, maintained by communication and a collective intelligence. They share water and nutrients, send distress signals about drought and disease or insect attacks. In short, they help each other thrive. We can learn a lot from the forest and the trees…and probably most Tree Huggers, too.
